Meet Tony Crane :

 

Tony commenced his recruitment career in 1992 with a small firm in London called Accountancy Directions which later became known as Witan Jardine, and which is now part of the Ambition Group.
He was promoted in 1994 and became the youngest manager in the company’s history at that time, overseeing the growth of the business from a generalist accounting recruitment firm to one which specialised in recruiting finance staff in the key sectors of Professional Services, Banking/Property and Media/Commerce in 1996. 

In 1997 Tony moved to Australia and in January 1998 joined Michael Page’s banking and finance business as a Senior Consultant. In 1999/2000 Financial Year he achieved $1 million in revenue before taking a sabbatical to travel. Upon returning to Michael Page in 2001 Tony launched MP Technology in Western Sydney and then left in 2002 to start Hemisphere Consulting.

Meet Ollie Khedun :

 

Ollie has 10yrs experience beginning his career in the North West of England, initially in Technology recruitment, and subsequently Accounting & Finance. He spent the majority of his time with Michael Page before moving to London where he joined a reputable boutique search & selection firm, specialising in the Corporate Tax market.

He moved to Sydney, and joined Hemisphere in 2008 where he works closely with experienced Consultants / Managers / Directors when looking for compelling career options. He advises on local and international moves drawing on his network of global contacts to come up with the most exciting propositions.

Meet Rebecca Lennard :

 

Rebecca joined Hemisphere in January 2010 to launch our new service offering in the 'Industrial' space. This covers search and selection organisations and corporate companies across Mining and Resources, Engineering, Property & Construction and Manufacturing for both industrial and consumer. She also provides advice and opportunities for consultants with one to three years recruitment experience across any sector.

Rebecca has five years recruitment industry experience from the UK, and spent the last two years with a leading executive recruitment business specialising in search and selection work across the Not for Profit and Government markets.

Meet Andrew Norton :

 

With over 21 years in the recruitment industry, Andy spent the bulk of his recruitment career with Michael Page International, both in the UK as well as Australia. Relocating with the business from London to Melbourne in 1996 and focusing on Finance recruitment, first Professional Services and then managing the newly formed Banking & Finance Division. Through to 2001, Andy had additional responsibility for introducing Legal recruitment and personally developing a senior Banking desk that set records for the volume of retained “ad searches”.

In 2001 Andy relocated to Sydney to Manage Front Office Banking and Senior Accounting functions. In 2003 he then returned to Melbourne and for the next 3 years developed Human Resources as a new specialist recruitment discipline. The final role with the group in 2007 involved an on-site project at Tabcorp, managing a project to hire 150 people in a newly formed Finance & HR Shared Services function.  In August 2007 Andy opened the Melbourne operation of Hemisphere Consulting.

Andy manages the Melbourne business and focuses on local, interstate and international assignments for leading recruitment brands, in-house solutions and RPO’s.

Meet James McConochie :

 

James has 10 years experience in the recruitment industry both in the UK and Australia working for Michael Page International and Hudson : 2 of the largest and highest profile generalist recruitment consultancies in the world. Having made the decision to return home to Sydney mid 2004 James has since had the opportunity to successfully recruit as well as manage specialist teams across a diverse range of clients developing an extensive national network of key industry contacts.  

With the support of Tony Crane,  James has recently set up a new division of Hemisphere Consulting  - Hemisphere HR which will focus on the recruitment of executive level HR Professionals. Combining his past decade of experience with Hemisphere’s strong brand in the corporate recruitment and resourcing space, James’ objective is to position Hemisphere HR as a true HR specialist search and selection practice providing  exceptional customer service to both candidates and clients in what is a very demanding market place.
