We have been retained on a unique role in the recruitment market.
Our client is looking to appoint a General Manager to lead the growth and direction of this business in the engineering and 'built' environment in Sydney.
Being able to draw upon the experience of a team of executive directors (who are highly experienced within the engineering industry) you will receive all the infrastructure and support you will need to make a success of this business.
Although not a start-up by any means, you will still be required to set the direction of the firm, hire the right staff and will absolutely need to be generating revenue yourself for the first year.
Your market sector background in the recruitment industry is not as important as having the commerciality, entrepreneurialism and drive and tenacity to succeed.
It is likely you are one of that rare breed of recruiters who feels they would be eminently capable of setting up their own recruitment business, but lack either the capital and/or confidence to do it completely on their own with little guidance or support.
You do not need to be at a General Manager level already; you simply need to be confident that, with the right guidance in your career, you can flourish in a leadership role, you can build relationships internally and externally and that you have a 'vision'...one which cannot be replicated in your current environment.
Although experience in an engineering recruitment environment would be beneficial, we are really looking for ambitious managers / senior consultants who are looking to build their own business with some outstanding business help along the way, and who possess the drive and determination to succeed, no matter what the market might throw at them.

We have been retained to source a highly capable, experienced executive recruiter for this global technology company - with the role based out of Singapore.
Reporting to the Regional Head of Recruitment, you will be the lead recruiter for executive client-facing (sales and related services) roles for the business across AsiaPac.
Taking ownership of recruitment delivery for your clients and being seen as the strategic adviser to them is integral to the success of this position. You must be able to demonstrate a wealth of knowledge and genuine passion around the technology industry, have previous experience in recruiting senior roles in the Business Development and Sales discipline, and ideally have some knowledge of the Asian markets - including its challenges and nuances etc.
Your presentation and communication skills must be of the highest order and you should be willing and able to relocate to Singapore with relative ease (there will be relocation assistance for the right person).
