who we are
Hemisphere Consulting was established in 2002 by Tony Crane, who still acts as a consultant today. The business initially started in Sydney and we opened the Melbourne operation in August 2007 with Andy Norton as the General Manager.
Tony started in the recruitment industry in 1992 in London, moving to Australia in 1997. In that time he has worked for both International executive and smaller niche firms in the Commercial Industry, IT/Technology and Investment Banking markets.
Andy spent the bulk of his recruitment career with Michael Page International, both in the UK as well as Australia, and has more recently managed both Front Office banking and Human Resources recruitment teams.
Hemisphere operates in three niche areas of the recruitment and resourcing industry; we undertake search work for market-leading search and selection firms when they are looking to make key appointments to their business, we assist recruiters who are looking to relocate their careers internationally and we offer a unique service consulting to both RPO specialist (recruitment process oursourcing) and corporate organisations across Asia-Pac with regards their resourcing and recruitment teams.
Our clients, within each region we operate in, are recognised as industry leaders in their respective disciplines in regard to profile, industry expertise, service offerings and client base. Our clients range from top tier global executive search firms to privately owned search and selection firms, from global RPO and corporate organisations to smaller innovative enterprises, thus ensuring we can consult to all levels of recruitment specialists on their career.
We do not try to be all things to all people and will not compromise our standards and services by working with organisations that are not reputable.
Before agreeing to work with any recruitment business, we take the time to listen and learn about their organisation and practices. We openly discuss our capabilities and sourcing methodologies, at which point both parties decide whether it is a viable option to work together.
